All of the wings and ailerons are sealed. The conduit and grommet on the fuse side is where the external aileron control cable enters the cockpit. |

Nice neat work on the model. (the workspace needs some attention.... :-)) How will you cover the top of the wing??? |

I know I just cannot seem to work in an organized space. I seem to need confusion. The air foils shall be covered with poly-span. I have been pondering diagrams of the flight wires. Oh boy....what a web to weave. More thought required as I cover and paint the wingie thingies:) |

Brian see if this gets you there. |

thankyou john, do you apply polyspan with dope or do you use an iron on it like monokote? |
John M Oshust | 08-Feb-13 17:27 |
You can dope it on or as I do CA it on the edges. Hit with a heat gun and it is finished. Takes 10 min to do a large wing. It must be sealed before paint. I will post the process tomorrow when Jen gets covered. |

DD...How are your eyes? |
David Duckett | 08-Feb-13 19:49 |
Thanks, John. They're not quite bad enough to require cataract surgery yet but I have something known as "macular pucker" which is a wrinkle on the retina on the left eye. I will be seeing a "retina" doctor on the 28th for further evaluation and in the meantime I'll be getting real glasses. I waited over an hour to see the doctor and there were six other old folks waiting behind me. I was not nice! |

I hoped your problem was only cataracts. I guess you must wait. I see my opthalmologist next week. I think he has to laser my lens cases as they have fogged in the year since cataract surgery. He said the procedure is no big deal and is an in office quick fix. |

DD, I have the same problem, but in the right eye. I now wear trifocals. Surgery not required yet. John, The Jenny's looking great!! |
