David Duckett | 18-Jan-16 07:51 | Nearly all my models using infill are the same and you can see exactly how I did it on the build threads for them. This one doesn't have that much infill but I have used all the other methods I know of to cover it with wood. Planking, sheeting, solid wood, and infill have been used and it still gets filler and silkspan, as usual. The fun of a Berkeley kit is that they require lots of thought before you actually do anything, And all Berkeley kits are not built the same as say a Guillows kit. The Fairchild in my hanger is stick and tissue type construction whereas the Savage is mostly solid wood. |
