Boy, I am glad that the wings don't have any rivets! Used up 1 1/2 sheets of the Micromark rivets to get to this point. I thnik that it will take about another 30 inches of rivets to finish up.

Looks like it is worth the effort.

Thanks guys. I was beginning to doubt my sanity about half-way through!

Yes, this looks awesome. Archertransfers.com also makes decal rivets. They may have done the original sets. They have them in various sizes as well. Can't wait to try this technique.

I checked out the Archer's Transfers site; I think that MicroMark is the better bang for your buck. Both rivet sets will portray the older style protruding rivets used prior to WW II also for most light aircraft. Flush riveting and Duz fasteners have a flat profile that, as far as I can find, are only available for larger scales such as 1/6 and larger. Just sayin'.

Rayl, looks gorgeous. Those rivets will really make the model pop out. Glad you checked out the other sources for rivets. It pays to do a bit of research. Really happy you chose the "O Hust" sized rivets. Rivets that may pass for exact scale or closer to it, may come off as being too heavy or big. Subtlety is the key here. This is especially so for aircraft. It's like weathering. It can easily be overdone.
