I will build per the plans but replace the wood. The laser cut kit has great wood for static, electric or RC builds but too heavy for rubber. elevatoranj 26-Apr-09 07:34 i sure hope that the weight issue is not THAT big a deal, as novice builder is finishing the fuselage on the Herr kit it weights less than the weight of the coating that i put on my wings. her skeleton complete weights 41 grams. My framework totals 110 grams without the nose block or the stringers on the fuselage. mine will fly further as i have the key to the rooftop of a 24 story building.
