Two halves joined for "fun", not glued. My wife's comment " we need a bigger house".

Steve, not to worry. The max. diameter is 3" on nose cone. All others much less.

BTW, The skins are 3/32", not i/8" as previously stated.

Have you considered clear Monokote for the greenhouse, iron it on, shrinks tight, clear and strong, of course they have metallics as well

bbaumer, I covered my Stearman with Monocote, also several R/C models. It really works well, goes on easy and shrinks with no wrinkles using a heat gun. However I will probably use clear acetate pieces and frame with trim tape on this canopy.

"My wife's comment " we need a bigger house"." Sorry-bout-that, Childbride's comment is that my contribution to this project is the B-29 kit, but not the place to build it;o) Seriously, what are your intentions for the completed B-29? IMHO, a contribution to a museum after you are tired of it sitting around the house(CAF-Midland or similar might be a consideration. Occasionally, I donate old aviation magazines and other suitable memorabilia to the 1940 Air Terminal Museum at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, TX. Last time that we visited the museum, we noticed a couple of our donations on display. The B-29 looks great. I'm looking forward to the rest of your fine build of this model. Al
