David Duckett | 17-Nov-09 04:16 | Kit contents |
David Duckett | 17-Nov-09 04:28 | There are two of the blue plastic sheets (one extra?) which are actually clear and have a film over them, two of the white plastic (one extra?) which are the sides of the plane, the canopy, 9 sheets of laser cut wood, assorted sticks, plans, building instructions, tissue, a clear sheet of plastic (?), dowels for the missiles, two sheets of white plastic for the fins on the missiles, and a sheet of peel and stick decals (;-( ). There are also two small red plastic wheels which won't be used. I am surprised and pleased to have the extra pieces and hope I don't need them. |
David Duckett | 17-Nov-09 04:45 | ...and the scale is approximately 1/22. |
Heinrich Dorfmann | 17-Nov-09 07:24 | Is this really intended to be a flying model ... ? I would like to see that, with these short stub wings ... |
jgood | 17-Nov-09 08:49 | Good point Heinrich. It'll make a great display model, but I can't believe it would actually fly, although it does seem to say 'flying model' on the box. What do you think, David? |
BillParker | 17-Nov-09 10:38 | If you put enuff motor on it, a palm tree will fly... Dave, is this another catapult jet? |
David Duckett | 17-Nov-09 10:54 | No, those are Today's Hobbies kits. |
kfinn | 17-Nov-09 16:04 | I could guarantee that this model would fly as a glider at the slope where I fly (on a good day! Which happens to be just about everyday from spring to fall.). How well? That depends. |
pfinn | 17-Nov-09 16:09 | Whoops! That would be my comment. Not Katarina's..;o).
