David Duckett | 06-Jun-11 09:13 | Many thanks to all of you. The kit comes only with plastic for bombs, 3 large and 12 small ones, and making rockets and fuel tanks is easier than making those bombs. These rockets are from the other Skyraider kit. These planes carried a variety of tanks and bombs and rockets and god only knows what else. I still have a few things to do on it and touch up the paint in addition to making the prop. I had planned to build the other one right after this but I think perhaps a break might be in order. In addition to the B-29 SteveM gave me, I have three Todays Hobbies kits on the shelf which have all been built before but I do like the kits and they're still cheap. |
moostang51 | 06-Jun-11 17:30 | TOMCAT....TOMCAT....TOMCAT!!!!! |
David Duckett | 07-Jun-11 06:53 | The Tomcat still lives here so I didn't get another one. I bought the F-4, F-16, and F-18 for about $105 including shipping from Penn Valley. |
