The wheelwells are waterproof, it's an amphibian, and there's two feet of snow outside...who needs landing gear?:-) |

Rayl, got to admire your willingness to challenge yourself to take on such unusual projects. Hope you don't mind if I offer: to review the posts of John O's "How To" on this website for building radial engines in addition to my postings of the engine on the PT-17. I took a few pictures to be posted on my S.E. 5 construction especially for your build insofar as rigging. Don't know how far you will to go in the detailing, but the pixs will offer some viewpoints on rigging and fabrication of "turnbuckles." Take a peek on the S.E. 5 postings and hopefully will give you an alternative. -Sky |

Thanks for the compliment and offer Sky. I already have the engine, etc. in hand or planned but am in no hurry to get to them. |
