BriandKilby | 24-Dec-21 18:37 | maybe you can help me, dd? when i'm working on the undercarriage rigging of the flyer, i'm having trouble gluing the thread and pulling it tight at the same time. to the bottom of the wing tissue without having my fingers or tools being glued from the ca. do you have any ideas to help? thank you, brian. |
BriandKilby | 24-Dec-21 18:56 | merry christmas, happy holidays everyone! |
David Duckett | 25-Dec-21 08:54 | I suggest you glue one end of the thread in place first and when dry, pull it taut. You need only a very tiny amount of CA to hold it in place. I dip a pin in the glue and then use that. Happy holidays to you and your family. |
BriandKilby | 25-Dec-21 10:18 | thanks david, and happy holidays to you! |
BriandKilby | 27-Dec-21 14:37 | dd, do the rudder struts assemble parallel to one another on the wing to the rudder? thanks for your build threads, i don't know if i could have built the wright flyer without them. :) |
