yeah but every time I use that stuff it gives me the flu... No kidding, can't breath for a week. I seem to be ultra sensitive to the stuff. |

Same here, cold-like symptoms a few hours after using the stuff. If I've not had much exposure to it in the past month or two then I can get away with using a little, but not enough to build a plane out of. A friend of mine has also discovered CA sickness and will have to find a different way to glue his stuff. |

You can get odourless CA at most LHS. Bob Smith adhesives is one brand that offers it.
I too suffer from the same as you, makes me feel like I have a head cold. I found that by not putting my head directly over the parts I am gluing, try to keep off to the side a bit. Plus if you have small breeze, such as from a fan, that will help as well. When you get your face directly over the fumes, is when it gets into your nasal track and causes the problem.
It has never been proven that some people are "allergic" to CA, but some exhibit higher forms of sensitivity to it. |

I have a high speed fan, a mask, I hold my breath when the glue is open... I finally decided that I was poisoning myselrf, and went back to the ambroid. It's what we do here... "Watching the glue dry..." |
