Nice!! What size wheels are called for? |
poppy | 06-Oct-15 17:15 |
1 1/4" main and 1" front wheels. |

Where is a good place to look for wheels? Can't seem to find any 1" at Squadron that look correct for the Corsair |
BriandKilby | 06-Oct-15 17:28 |
maybe tower hobbies> |

Poppy, I can furnish the front wheels, same as I just put on the Pilatus Porter and Don I can furnish 1" wheels for an Avenger which will work just fine. These were cast for me by Julnick and will require drilling a hole for the axle. Don I no longer have your email address so if you have mine shoot me your address. |

David, thanks a lot in advance for the front wheels. Will save me a trip across Dallas to hobby shop. You are a gentleman!! |

Thanks, julnick. |

Thanks,David. That's great. Message sent. And thanks to Julnik too and Brian. Brian, Tower has basically the same stuff as Squadron.
On a slightly different note, I copied the plans and printwood from the kit Poppy sent me and went from there. Don't know if that qualifies as "scratch built", but if anyone wants a copy of the plans or the kit itself, let me know. |

don, does squadron carry balsa sticks in 3/16" up to 1/2" ? brian. |
Don C | 07-Oct-15 14:15 |
Brian, I don't think so. Try Midwest Balsa or Midwest Products. |
David Duckett | 07-Oct-15 14:40 |
Try Amazon. I bought Midwest balsa sheets from them and all of them are excellent wood. |
