John M Oshust | 30-Mar-08 16:33 | In my short career at building, I have never enjoyed any process more than painting this bird with a brush. A real hoot! |
JohnG. | 30-Mar-08 16:36 | Outstanding, John just OUTSTANDING!!!!! |
sweetwillie | 30-Mar-08 16:46 | WOW!! That's "LG" John, just absolutely, outstanding! I don't enjoy the brushing as much as I do with the airbrush, which I'm still trying to learn. but that is just beautiful!! |
John M Oshust | 30-Mar-08 16:55 | I borrowed an A brush and compressor, but did not want to learn how to make it work. I Now can see why DD loves painting with a brush. I wish I could afford an A Brush...the brush is no problem the compressors are a little steep! |
cdwheatley | 30-Mar-08 16:55 | Great work John, and to think you very nearly scrapped this one! |
John M Oshust | 30-Mar-08 16:56 | CD...yse I had to rebuild the wings and they had me down a bit, but I am on a comeback! |
sweetwillie | 30-Mar-08 19:54 | John, I got a Campbell Hausfield reconditioned compressor, that I think is brand new on Amazon for $35.00
Here is a photo of it. And I got a new Badger 250 airbrush kit for $20.00 also on Amazon. Here is a picture of the compressor. |
