I was thinking of making another cowl and engine. While satisfied with this cowl, I was not happy with the fit. This cowl was make from the plane without benfit of a fuse for tight fitting. Today I solved the fitting dilemma. The "Magic Box" provided a tubular ring to act as a cowl coaming. What to do with my second cowl and engine?? I think I shall use it as a foundation for a totally scatched aeroplane. An "O" racer. THe goal is to design and build a golden age racer fron the assortment of planes I have laying about. This should prove to be an interesting project. |

JG...Another great idea.... a couple of fifties to make the competition want to stay far ahead in a race. |

Xanadu, thank you, builder of large aircraft. Final walk around photos tomorrow as this adventure is history. Remember I built most of this twice....in 4 weeks!!! Margin for error the second time around greatly reduced...and I wore my hat!!! |
