Shimmed the hoop with 1/8" Balsa and doublestick tape. Then just plane down the thickness. T.E to just over 1/16" at angle, and L.E. thickness taper from greatest chord point to inboard and tip. |

I was surprised to see this kit already listed on the the "Aircraft Listing" here. Bummed nobody built it yet. It's nice to see someone elses build and take notes. James (Good), was it yours? You had mentioned that you had the "DH Dragon Rapid" like me. Thought you might have a penchant for older British aircraft, wonder why...He...He, Thanks JohnG. Phil. |
