thanks don and bob, I found some plastic filler such as Tamiya and squadron, but i'm not sure if it works with balsa. |

If you use the light weight spackle with a wet finger you can get it really smooth. A wet paper towel or smooth rag will take off any that is smeared past where you want it. Do it in small layers at a time. It might work. |

Squadron green and white putty both dry very hard. Very hard! |
