This is our club's airstrip which is in a place called Kvam, an 1 hour and 15 minutes long trip away from Stavanger. There are hundreds of mountains to fly sailplanes on and in the winter we fly on the ice. If you think this is gorgeous surrondings you should try flying a sailplane on one of the mountains nearby in a sunny day, that's what i live for.(my time record for most flying time without landing is 6 hours).
