Does any have a Dave Diels Ta 152 kit they would like to sell?
jerry campbell26-Mar-14 18:01
I am interested in purchasing.
lukebozek126-Mar-14 19:23
This is a beautiful build.
jerry campbell27-Mar-14 10:24
Thanks, But I'm still looking for the Diels Ta 152 for a special building project.

Your best bet is Dave Diels website for the plans. there is nothing on Ebay that I saw and the model is discontinued. You have great experience at the scratch builds I have seen. I like his kits too, but read his latest post. A2Z going down will affect quite a few people.

Jerry check out this link http://www.ebay.com/itm/Diels-19-Focke-Wulf-TA-152H-Balsa-Rubber-Power-Model-Airplane-Kit-NIB-/351040895143?pt=US_Radio_Control_Control_Line&hash=item51bbaaf8a7

Beautiful work - really stunning workmanship. Almost looks like a plastic scale model. Luke is correct -there is one for sale on Ebay now - just checked literally minutes ago.

Thanks Luke, I've made bid. First time I've ever worked on EBay,
lukebozek111-Apr-14 19:39
Piece of cake. Glad you made the bid. Look forward to watching this one.
David Duckett11-Apr-14 20:42
You have to outbid all the others before it's yours.
lukebozek112-Apr-14 06:51
Put down what you think it's worth and see what they are made of! Don't back down. If you low ball a number, you wake up and find that someone got it for 50 cents more. Man up! I noticed a few Mosquitoes out there and one (only one) Airacobra.

This kit is being sold by Penn Valley Hobbies and it would appear they have purchased Diels inventory. The kit probably sold for less than $30. When I see something on ebay I want I bid the maximum I want to spend, not what the item is worth. For the Mossie and Skyray I put bids of $200 and got them for right at $100 each. Luke is absolutely right about the low ball. There are many folks who will slide a bid in literally the last few seconds. I would guess this kit will go for under $50 so if I wanted it I would bid at least $75.
jerry campbell12-Apr-14 13:54
Dave,Do you mean 75.00 "maximum bid" which is not shown to the public? Also how do you pay for the kits if you win the bid?
David Duckett12-Apr-14 16:43
Yes, and you pay with Pay Pal.
David Duckett12-Apr-14 17:58
Jerry, if you're still in London there is a tax added to purchases that are not gifts and shipping is expensive. If you like, I'll bid the $75 which should be more than adequate and if it wins I'll send it to you at cost as a gift so the tax will not be added.

I'm in the States right now, but thanks. I've just got to make sure they ship it to my Stateside address.
