| It requires the radio, other wise ready to fly. Called a "pnp" version, (plug n play).
It will be a hoot to fly! My buddy ordered the new micro Spitfire to fly as fighter escort for it. |

| last year i got a 53" p-38 from a place like hobby king. it had retracts and flew pretty good and broke me into multiengine flying. the only thing was the gear doors were spring loaded and one of them wouldnt stay on . the props weren't counterrotating either. |

| Still flying the P-38 BriandKilby? I saw one the the HK versions like you mention at a local flying club, nice unit. I have the GWS version which I just belly land on grass. Excellent flyer, just love it. |

| Yes, and no........due to faulty esc's during a second attempt at its maiden flight, the motors surged causing a had pitch to the right. I manged to drop it down before the trees, but forgot about the barb wire fence.
Its all good, repairs are done(minor anyways,) but I am waiting for replacment esc's from HobbyKing. |
