| The Japanes deisgners thought that the added weight of the retract mechanism was a trade-off and used the spats/fixed gear for performance. This is a beautiful build. Where did you get the plans, or did you draw up your own? |

| I bought the plans by Mike Midkiff at Ozark Model Aircraft. Mike was kind enough to reduce them to 1/24th scale for me. I find that 1/24 scale allows me to use a lot of decals and aftermarket products from the plastic kit industry. |
