Maybe just not mainstream like the Mustangs and Spitfires etc. nothing wrong with those - I plan to build one of each at some point. At first though I am having fun on the ‘fringes’ of aviation I guess. Even though the planes I tend toward building are noteworthy in their civilian achievements. The Sparrowhawk is fascinating because of the way it was deployed as well as its combination of features. Biplane, radial, gull wing, spats, colorful prewar paints, open cockpit, etc..it has everything all in one little package.
