Beautiful! what's the secret to straight lines around compound curves like the nose? anything that we, humans, could apply?

Many thanks! Q. "How do I get to Carneige Hall?" A. "Practice." Making an error with acrylic paint is no big deal because it dries quickly and can be painted over. In this case, there were many errors that had to be painted over before it was satisfactory. Each time gets closer and I would guess it required at least ten separate sessions. But each session is no more than a few minutes at most. It's really more about being patient and not going ballistic if you make a mistake since the tendency is to see any small error as a major tragedy. With this, the white center section between the red and gray is the main reference for the entire scheme and the other colors are painted in line with it. Practice. Draw a line on an object with compound curves and paint to the line. Draw a straight line on a surface and paint it straight. If you make an error, wait until the paint dries and paint over it. This will also teach something else. The hand has a tendency to move in a circle when painting and being right handed, I paint clockwise. It's very uncomfortable for me to paint in the opposite direction. And my left hand is totally useless relative to painting. Practice. And don't post any pictures which show your work in a bad light. Literally. In my opinion, flash does not treat models kindly since it adds an artificiality to the colors you worked so hard to get right.

Just look at the photo without reading who built it, we knew who did it.
