David Duckett | 03-Feb-14 07:40 | The plans call for the keel to be 1/18" wide strips of 1/16" stock which seems to be common to Cleveland designs. That seems a bit flimsy for the 3/32" formers and stringers so I decided to make a solid piece keel of 1/16" stock. I also wanted to make sure I got it straight when joining the halves. Worked pretty good so I think it will be the way I build all Cleveland kits. |
