David Duckett | 06-Mar-14 05:14 | I plan to have the wheel wells open to some degree and that will mean removing lots of wood once the landing gear doors are fabricated. No specific ideas are in place yet but I find it helps to think about the tasks ahead without formulating a particular plan. Sometimes the solution will suddenly seem clear as a day in Arizona. |
BriandKilby | 06-Mar-14 07:45 | david, do you make your landing gear out of metal or wood or both? |
David Duckett | 06-Mar-14 07:55 | Both, and some various other materials if they work. I'm not a metal person. |
Creosotewind | 06-Mar-14 12:32 | So that wasn't you I saw at the Metallica concert? |
David Duckett | 06-Mar-14 12:39 | :) No!!!!!!!!!!!! |
David Duckett | 06-Mar-14 12:54 | In my mid twenties I played Dylan and the Doors as loud as my stereo would go, drank lots of beer, and painted masterpieces. These days it's coffee and a line from My Fair Lady, "an atmosphere as quiet as an undiscovered tomb". And paint by number and whittlin'. |
