| all of these images you have created have a calm and meditative quality to them, Dave that cannot be overstated. I have been in Ocotillo and Joshua Tree at sunrise many times in my life and this one captures the look AND feel of those mornings to the point I can smell the dry, cool air and sage |

| Thanks for the critique. Almost all my paintings could be called still life because there is hardly ever any movement in them except for the colors. The spectacular colors of sunrises and sunsets only last a short time. There was not a sound when the photo was taken. |
