John M Oshust | 06-Apr-15 17:06 | rayl... I surely hope so as the airscrew is always my maraschino cherry on the Sunday:-)) |
moostang51 | 06-Apr-15 17:54 | Easiest and surest way to make sure all prop blades are typical is to use frisket paper. See what blade is what you believe you want. Happy? Good.... then trace that onto the frisket paper 3 more times. Center on hub and point of blade. Sand to your hearts desire. No more Louisville Sluggers on blade three. Found this on some obscure site a while ago and it worked great. Measured with a veneer caliber after sanding and it was balls on. |
John M Oshust | 06-Apr-15 18:06 | Moos, I used a paper template to get the blades the same. I have no idea what frisket paper is. Sounds delicious! I used calipers to get the bades the same thickness |
poppy | 07-Apr-15 09:31 | It looks great to me!! |
