Decided to go with this color scheme, instead of kit suggested red. I already have a red Fokker Triplane, so was looking for more variety to add to my hangar. |

Yes, wonderful. Love the colors. Very seasonally appropriate. I really wish that my eyes and fingers could work in this scale. I could construct more:-) |

Obviously this is not a scratch built model, but needed that reference to get it on VA. This model is constructed from Dumas kit #232, a newer addition to their Walnut scale models, copyright 2011. |

Thanks for your comments. My wife is not sold on the colors, maybe for Easter eggs. Had to point out that early German aircraft were very colorful. (like the lozenge camouflage on the underside of wings of my RC Albatros which is made up of light and dark green, yellow, purple, and blue colors). |
