Care to elaborate on the construction? Please. |

A thin plywood base is covered with some scrap leather from an old eyeglass case. The wicker-looking (burlap) material is a piece of wire-edged ribbon I picked up in a craft shop floral department. Brand name is Celebrate It 360. The wire edges, top and bottom, keeps it rigid to maintain the shape. Some leather cording is glued to the top and will be used to trim the cockpit as well. The seat belt was cut from a brown paper bag and the buckle was bent from a bronze-colored head pin. |
