I thought so too. I had never seen a blue mustang before. I also bought the Blue Lou IV "foamie" 2 channel rc plane as well. I can post a picture of it too. The Hyperion was kind of expensive, but the foamie version only cost 50 dollars with radio and shipping! The Hyperion flys really well and really is a pretty plane even up close. I would love to see the real thing it must have been a sight to behold.

I had my first OOS flight yeaterday. I put a battery pack from one of my electric rc planes in an old Outlaw Firedbird trainer that has twin eletric motorized props. I had ripped out the speed and direction controllers due them being fried, so it had become a free flight only model. The first flight was a minute or so and it flew in a nice lazy cirle with a max height of a hindred feet or so. I got frisky and popped in a more powerful battery and tweake the trim. I tossed it in the air and away it went. My brother and I giggled like kids as we watched it climb in a big slow spiral. problem was it kept climbing and drifting off to the west. We live in Indiana and we were in a 20 acre field next to a massive forest belonging to the National guard. The plane eventually disappeared off to the west and out of sight after 10 minutes or so. I figured it was gone but the plane was basically free and the battery only 7 or 8 bucks, so I wasn't too upset. My brother suggested we drive in the general direction of where we last saw it, I said ok but had no real belief we would find it. We drove about 2 miles west and my brother, on a whim, said why not turn down this road by an old church. We did and another mile or so down the road he suddenly shouted "THERE it is!!!" Sure enough, sitting pretty as you please was the plane. It was about 5 feet from the side of a house. I grbbed the plane and laughing like hyenas at the wonder of it we headed home. Not only did we find the plane it was unscathed. It had missed the house, a huge oak tree and a swimming pool all within ten feet of where it landed. Besides that it was in area surrounded by trees and overgrown fields. The chances of us driving straight to it and seeing it were staggering. A great story to share with the grandkids some day and a fun finish to my weekend.
