Get yourself a softer work board, cheap cork bulletin boards at the dollar store work great, (easier to push pins in)

Yes, welcome aboard! It's great to see a new builder and superb that you have such a fine tutor. My Brother taught me how to build these back about 100 years ago and then he never built anything again. Please keep posting pictures of your progress, we are all still students.
