Two things I want to say. First it is obvious that you were in the Navy, where else would you learn to do this quality of work? Remember fixing something with nothing? Remember making your own spare parts? I do, very well. Second of all, where you in the "Deck Division?" I do recall some of my naval associates who we referred to, lovingly of course, as Deck Apes. I cannot remember ever seeing so many unusual builds from one source. You must be very proud of these accomplishments. Anybody can open a box and make something, but you can take the nothing and make it into a real treasure. Thank you for spreading some beauty into my life.

lukebozek1 Thank you very much for your cander reply I am honered to meety such great people here on this forum. I served 30 years in the Navy retired Cheif boatswainmate I been a knuckledragger for most of my young life, I been building models sconce I was 5 years old in, i always had the love of building things from my hands, I always sent away for model plans from Mechanix Illistrated magizines and built ship and aircraft models from timber or paper. Liveing on a naval pension cant support my modeling needs so I just grab a peice of wood and haul up a set of plans turn two on the model. I found a home here you fellas turn out some of the most Beautiful builds I have ever seen on any forum I visted, the plastic boys do okay but not compared to you gentlemen. I thank you for your warm reply I am honered. Franklyn AKA Boats
