This is my next long term project. Any guesses as to what it is?

General Patton's bath tub?

Unfortunately there is enough rust that I don't think it will hold water. Not even with all of Patton's cursing.

M29 Weasel

You are correct Mr. Finn. I am a board member at the Arizona Military Museum. They had this sitting in a yard, along with an M7B1 Priest, M42 Duster, some Russian tanks and APCs. So I volunteered (I was never in the military as you vets might have guessed) to restore it. It is actually an M29C, which typically had the floatation tanks on the front and rear. You can see the attachment bolts at the front and back of the Weasel. I'm planning on a year and half restoration. We'll see.

Now that's cool! The only reason I knew it was a Weasel is that my co-worker Adam Kuller recently completed a resin scale model/diorama of the M29. He is just about to complete his M29C! His "Builds" are astonishing and insane. There is quite a bit of nice reference (actual photo's) if you're interested. Here are links to his M29 build http://www.militarymodelling.com/forums/postings.asp?th=51188&p=1 and this is his M29C http://www.militarymodelling.com/forums/postings.asp?th=55613 . 1/35 scale!

Phil, a really impressive model. Finally something to compete with the old Monogram kit (which is still a pretty nice model, especially for its age).
