thanks david, I forgot to compensate for the tail. it's tail heavy!
David Duckett22-Oct-14 17:47
Yeah, that can happen. Hang it, no one will know. I ordered one for myself today:)

I think there used to be a MiG 17 at Falcon Field, at the air museum. It might still be there, since I think only the prop planes were sold off.

Good job on the Fresco!
BriandKilby23-Oct-14 09:07
thanks poppy, what's your next project?
poppy23-Oct-14 09:31
Not sure yet. I think it will be a Todays Hobbies F-14 Tomcat graciously supplied to me by David Duckett. I also have a Guillows B-17 I traded Al Locker(simpleflyer)for a Sterling B-17. In fact I have so many to choose from it's hard for me to say what's next. I am gonna take a rest for a while though.

I hear you Poppy..... I've been "resting" for years...Stop by often to enjoy the builds though. Great site the VA.

The number of recent builds would suggest 95% of the site's members are "resting".

Rearranging the house, hobby room is too cluttered to work. I need to hang the XB-70 and then start on the Revell Bell H-13 H 1:35 I picked up at the museum at Austin.

I'm still screwing around with plastic models. I even have 4, (sorry for you more sensitive audience members) CAR models to build. 2 stangs (67) and 2 vettes (67) My wife's and my favorite cars. I want to shoot gloss paint with my airbrush. All these years, and I've never tried glossy paint. I have a HERR P-38 to get my back into wood when I'm done... And I have a blown up Comet P-38 plan (10 footer) to play with all winter...

Looks great Brian! I haven't been building too much lately. Between work and everything else, time has not been my friend.
