Congratulations on the 1st place award Ape! That B-24 looks great. Did you add the engine exhaust smudge or was that already printed on the cards? Excellent detail all around. |

Ahoy thanks fellas Paul I had a McCoy 35 the engine got worn out from burning out to many circles I had the engine replaced with Enya 35 the wing span is 35 inch,s I bought the kit in 1959 when I was in the navy covered it with silk and Pactra Areo ghloss Cub yellow dope. Boats |

Looking at your results, I have met the master! You should see some of my work. The cockpit details are pretty insane. |

Ahoy Luke thanks for the comment this stands true there is just amount of framework to give the cardstock strength and to remove warps and wavyness. In construction of these kits are very difficult at first then in a short time you can have this mastered. |

What you don't see is the incredibly detailed frame underneath these paper kits. It is way more difficult than any model I have ever built. I'm working on a Polish fighter now and the wing substructure is unbelieveable. If I get this done in 6 months I will amaze myself. The good news is that you use a razor, scissors and white glue. I can pack this away on the road and work evenings. |

Ahoy Mr. Wilson nope not fragile at all you can drop on the deck and it wont break the only reinforcements are the fuselage formers, wing spars and ribs pretty much like that of balsa kits the principle is the same but paper only instead of balsa and lite plywood. Boats |

Beautiful. Is it fragile? Did you put on additional reinforcement? |

Thanks Poppy Yes Buddy this all cardstock and paper, These card kits can easly pass for plastic or balsawood if built corectly. This is a gomix Flymodel kit I got from a good friend in Poland. Please take not at the star and bar its upside down not my fault it came that way in the printing of the kit it was the first thing I noticed on the model only way to correct it is to get a bigger decal and place over it no one will ever know Thanks Poppy your Able Dog is the Best.
