James, I will address the wings after the spinner and prop are manufactured, now they are still components in the box. The wing balsa, unlike the fuse balsa, is very study, borders on bass. Maybe I can finally use some guillows wood on their model! |

I hope to complete the fuse (spinner and prop) by Sunday. This way I can chase turkeys next week and return to construct the wing. |

Al oxidizes with time, forms a patina. I coated the Al, and decals, with a thin coat of clear sealant. I refer to the nose...tail is wood! |

Tonight I re-burnished the AL and applied the decals (the best part of a Guillows kit) |

Once the spinner and prop are complete, I can start wing construction. |

I had to remove the engine magnets for an easy fit, all of this is scratch build....learn as you go prototype. |

There is a wooden nose block behind the Guillow spinner. A scre holds the cowl and engine to the fuse. Tomorrow I hope to make the Al spinner. The spirit had a choice of two. The jeweld blunt original, and a more tapered but plain spinner for its famo |
