I have started to cover the model with tissue that has details printed on it from a laser printer. The advantage of a laser printer, compared to an inkjet printer, is that the color is completely water proof. |

Weight for uncovered framework, cowl and proopellor is 9.5g. |

The supplied canopy was pretty disappointing which is unfortunate as this is really the most valuable part of the kit. It comes in 2 pieces that need to be glued on the center line. The plastic is also thick and heavy at 3.6g. I am going to form my own canopy. |

I cut out the center of the plastic cowl and inserted a balsa disk. The disk has a photo of a Wright Cyclone glued to it. |

I substituted contest balsa for most of the kit wood. I also used 1/32 balsa for the fuselage sides. |
