LASTWOODSMAN, Image # 39330 | 13 Sep 17 09:50 | It was a "CULT" aircraft with a vintage 1946 look. It was a tough, rugged, and exceptionally roomy, and forgiving, 2-seater. |
LASTWOODSMAN, Image # 39329 | 13 Sep 17 09:46 | The Fleet "CANUCK" had a 34 foot Wingspan and was 22 feet long, with a delicate under camber on the lower fuse. It had five basic instruments and a compass. It had a very roomy 40" wide cockpit, which was remarkable for its day. It had two seats side by side and dual control sticks for training. |
LASTWOODSMAN, Image # 39328 | 13 Sep 17 09:38 | I found this needed "diversion" sitting on the shelf - my 20" Fleet "CANUCK" kit (printwood) from Easy Built, kit FF-62 - 1:20 scale - a MODEL CRAFT kit designed by Roy Thomason in 1986. |
LASTWOODSMAN, Image # 39327 | 13 Sep 17 09:32 | Thanks James for putting the Fleet "CANUCK" on the available aircrat list. I have been obsessing on float bush planes and ski bush planes for a few weeks now, and this kit has floats. Time to learn how to build one. |
