I'm thinking Poppy would probably go 300 -400 feet. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Thank you to the turkey. |

It is supported by the rear tab on the plastic drop tank and 2 short plastic Evergreen rods at the front(small wooden dowels could also be used). The straps are made from masking tape. You will need to shorten the rear tab a bit as it is too long as is. |

Heinrich, this one took about 350 Hrs., but then I am kinda slow and also add a lot of detail that has to be engineered. The basic sheeting really doesn't take a lot of extra time. It is the filling and sanding before paint that takes time. |

Pretty! |

Incredible. Do you know how many hours did it take to build it like this ...? |
David Duckett, Comment for image # 4014 | 11 Feb 10 06:05 |
... and here it is. Just below the name in the upper left above is the "build thread" and on the same line to the right are the "next" and "prev". Clicking on those will advance or back up the photos. If you'll check out this particular one I think you'll see what is involved in sheeting a model that is designed and engineered to be covered with tissue or silkspan. |

I now use blue painter's tape. It will not disturb dry painted surface. But purple tape is best for tissue covered surfaces, not as sticky as blue tape. |

Ed, Hobbylite balsa filler, comes in balsa and white colors, are a fair substitute for Micro-Fill. Sands well, apply the same as Micro-Fill. |
