Good idea. I know it works. I usually use a needle file or sandpaper glued to a thin stick. |

Do a couple of test pieces to get a feel for the "shrink" (diameter and length)> Part of your decision to use shrink tubing should be.. Am I willing to rebuild/replace all this work? |

If I try it , I would use it only to increase the thickness of some of the existing pieces... |

I have not personally tried to use shrink tubing, however a few fellows I worked with tried. The problem they encountered was that the shrink tubing didn't shrink evenly and the cut length and finished diameter was difficult to determine and predict finished length and diameter. try it..maybe the shrink tubing formulation has changed since the last 20 yrs. |

Has anyone used "shrink tubing" on any of this ???? |

Thanks, everyone. I have it hanging from 10lbs test off the ceiling. Should be strong enough for dusting. This is my academic office so I only have colleagues and chairmen stopping by. If someone stops by upset, this is usually a great diffuser given that the guns are all point towards the seat infront of my desk! :-) |

Striamed1 - I hope that realistic looking battle wagon coming at them doesn't scare too many of our patients! ;)
BTW - cool pictures on the right hand wall! Your work? |

Good place. Are you looking forward to dusting it. :) |
