| The engine is a resin cast I made from a rubber mould of the Revell 1/32 P-47 kit. The engine is not accurate for this aircraft but when the kit is complete it should look OK. |

| The panel lines were added with Evergreen polystyrene strip. The model has been undercoated and sprayed silver. Now it's time to tackle the cockpit and undercarriage. |

| You can see here that I have rebuilt the frame without any of the kit parts, these were however very helpful in fabricating the new parts. Thanks to the ply the finished fuselage is extremely strong. |

| Fuselage frame nearly completed. I have lined the cockpit area with 1mm sheet and will scratch build a cocpit to be inserted later from plastic. |

| I have re-cut all pieces so far and have used ply and thick balsa for the ribs and formers. This will help when I line the fuselage in 0.25mm polystyrene sheet. |
