I am no expert, I would start with a 1/32 shim for low turn low power flights. If you have too much down thrust, the model will do long downward glides. You can always remove down thrust. Its hard to add it after you stalled and crashed. |

Will try and fly it like this. How much down/right thrust should it have on prop? The instructions don't say much. It glides very nicely without the prop on, so I think C of G is good. |

That's looking really nice James. I like the idea of the cards to set the wings in place. That's a real time saver and profanity reducer. Your dad will especially like this one I think. |

I did not, I still have all the parts, though. |

The kit and plans had the same dihedral on both wings. The real thing has less on the top wing. They increased it on the lower one for better ground clearance on the tips, I think, Dad probably knows. |

Looking very flyable James! |

That's neat, why the reduction on dihedral? |
jgood, Image # 43025 | 27 Feb 21 01:26 |
Wing jigs. |

Paper jig used for wing alignment. I had to create my own, due to the correction for the reduced dihedral on the upper wing. |

Maybe tomorrow, Dad. Don, yes it uses a jig, will upload a pic. |

Looks good, does this kit use a jig to set the wing struts or precut slots? |

Be flying this Tiger soon then James? |

Top wing sitting in place, not yet glued. |
