Thanks. I'll elaborate with photos. |

sand the thickness of the geared parts that synchronize the swing wing feature and use them to help you align the wing glove formers. You will also probably need to lengthen and widen the slots in those parts as well - or you could just 'fix' the wings on one position and be done with it. |

well - something is jiggered - I've tried three times to post this and it keeps being cut off..

all I remember is that I used the geared wing-swing parts to make sure I had enough spacing for them to function. If this is the part I think you mean, the openings are there for the swing-wing mechanism to work. I sanded the thickness on the geared parts significantly ( |

I don't have the plans, or memory, to help. Heywooood built one of these, too, so maybe he can help. |

DD or Julnick - On the F-14 what is the vertical placement of piece 60 (the rectangle with the hole between formers 10 & 11)? I can't tell from the directions or photos where it sits in relation to the slot in # 10 - level or angled? |

John O is correct. Mr. Duckett first used this term, and I have copied. It is JFB!!!! Well done. I know how much work was put into this beautiful model. I have one in the box waiting and have watched this and DD's build closely. Just an awesome build!! John O, I eagerly await your next project. And to all the other builders on the Aerodrome, keep 'em coming. They are all super! |
