| The kits from West Wings are top quality; excellent printwood, beautiful canopies and decals, and instructions that are a bit difficult to understand in some cases. They are engineered for flight so are built light. |

| This was a pretty cool video that can be found on YouTube. The host of a British TV show wanted to get kids interested in models, so he had a 1/72 Airfix kit produced in 1/1 scale (in fiberglas, I believe). He had a bunch of teenagers assemble and paint the kit. They got pretty excited (although not as excited as the host) as the project developed. |

 We all know about art and the eye of the beholder. Aesthetically I find this version of the Spitfire far more pleasing to the eye and not modeled nearly so often. |
