My introduction to aviation/war lit was The Flying Tigers by Whelan at 10 or 11 years old (some 60 years ago). I built a number of Monogram Struto-speed P-40E kits, but always wanted to build a P-40B/E. I think I'm going to build a Ki 27 Nate and a Ki 43 Oscar, the AVG's main adversaries in the skies over Burma. |

Great job! Early models of the P-40 are rare. Most modelers prefer the sleeker lines of the later marks. You've captured the AVG's look very well. |
