Right, the wing is not detachable. There are 2 access locations. Just behind the cowl, on the left side, is the battery hatch, the top edge of which is just visible in this photo. Also, the cowl is attached with a bayonet mount and a magnet. From here, once I remove the prop, I can get to the receiver, elevator servo and ESC. The aileron servo is, unfortunately, buried in the wing.

The wing does not seem to be detachable. How do you access the battery / servos / receiver? Is the bottom open?

Built for R/C, it is powered by an Axi 2204/54 with a 3 cell 700 mAh battery. All up weight is 220g (7.9 oz)

This Dumas kit is quite good. The parts fit is excellent and the balsa is great quality and light.

The Boomerang is covered in Polyspan. This is great stuff - it looks and feels like Silkspan. It requires adhesive but is very tough and light.
