Thanks for your nice comments. Your Taifun is very nice and a great flyer.
Unfortunately I didn't keep any good diagrams for building the Norseman. I also built it on the fly, changing pieces as I put it together.
There is, however, a Norseman kit, available, from Unionville: http://www.greathobbies.com/productinfo/?prod_id=UVH013
You may also, keep an eye on this site: http://www.outerzone.co.uk/ They don't have a Norseman yet, but new free plans are being added regularly.

Hi John,
Greetings from rainy Germany to you!
I've found your Plane here: http://www.virtualaerodrome.com/image_thread.html?p_aircraft_id=232&p_user_id=404 . Amazing work! You've implemented really well. I want to build up also a Norseman in the same wingspan like yours, but i will not take wood, but Depron (polystyrene).
I've already built up an airplane - the Messerschmitt BF 108 Taifun. I have the blueprint from a warbird-forum in Uruguay. The Video can be found here: Klick
So finally my question: Do you have a blueprint of this Norseman? Can you send it to me? This would be really nice. :-)
I thank thee for ever!
Bye!

John, my I used my own plans that are more of a rough sketch than a plan. In any case, I uploaded them here:
Float Plans
Floats on the Waco would look great. I also built the Dumas Waco ARE and now you got me thinking about building floats for it. |

John....I want to build floats for my Waco, can you help me with float plans. The floats here would work well. johnmoshust@verizon.net |

A picture taken, from the Norseman, of the large pond on my cottage property (near Ottawa, Canada). The photo is from fall, 2008. |

The Norseman taxis back to shore after a photo mission. The photo pod can be seen between the landing gear. |

I thought my Norseman would feel more home on floats. The floats are balsa sheeted and were later covered with Aerokote Lite. |

Because of its high wing and dihedral, it can fly with just the rudder (although I normally use ailerons as well). I don't have any control problem when landing. |

Sorry, just saw your other comment, 48" wingspan! |

Sounds nice! What's the wing span? How do you find the flaperons? I have them on my Tyro, but rarely use them for landing since I lose too much roll authority. You don't have that problem? |

All up weight is 27 oz. The 3 cell Lipo and the Nippy Black pull it along with plenty of power to spare. It flies like a trainer, crusing at about 1/3 throttle. With flaperons down, it comes in very slowly. |

Very nice work, John. How does she fly? What's the all up weight? |

The Norseman is finished in war time RCAF colours |

Note flaperons that follow the same lines as the orignal except without separation of aileron and flap. |

Nearing completion. Mount in nose is for a Nippy Black 1812 brushless |

Landing gear install into 2 metal tubes in the fuselage. There is a 3rd tube further back, to allow for floats. |
