About an hour or two after this was taken the snow stopped and the sun gradually came out. Virtually all of it has now gone! James, I've never heard of PicLens before, but it runs just fine on my 2 1/2 year old laptop with it's 128Mb ATi Mobility Radeon 9700 graphics card - pretty feeble by today's standards! Thanks for the link wingspanner! :-) |

BRRRR!! I'm sure glad I live in Southwest Texas. We didn't see any of that stuff for the last 2 years. |

Glad you like it wingspanner. I thought it was pretty cool, and it was pretty easy to hook up to this site. But yes, I need to expand it out to to cover the hangars, and build threads. I guess you need some pretty decent graphics hardware to run it, it's not very smooth on my old laptop, but my new iMac runs it brilliantly. |

Will it only let you view images as posted or could you view a build from beginning to end ? |

It might not be much compared to what some of you regularly get, but we've not had it like this for a looooong time! |

I am thinking of getting a couple to keep on hand to have collective builds when my friends and I are snowed in at my cabin next winter. |

Hooked, hmmm, yes I suppose you could say that, John! These are all available for download directly from the Fiddlers Green website, either individually (as I did with the SE5a) or as entire categories at a time e.g. WWI, WWII, Bombers, Light Aircraft etc. I liked them so much I went the whole hog and bought their entire collection of aircraft models in one go! They are all now available to me on the website to download whenever I wish, and are also on a DVD which should be with me soon. The Piper Cub is a free download from the home page if anyone else wants to have a go. |
