Nice job Bill, looks like it will fly nicely. |

High praise indeed, sir! Thank you... |

Great job Bill. The covering looks like you could bounce a quarter off it. |

How could anyone be grouchy when your building models! |
BillParker, Comment for image # 14656 | 27 Oct 09 17:39 |
And I had always been taught that French Canadiennes were grouchy! That guy is wonderful. I learned to paper "around the corner." Thank you! |

Here's a video on covering with Esaki. Beware! French Canadian humor! He swithches to English after a minute or so. Pretty amazingly simple. Part 2 should pop up on the YouTube menu to the right.

Actually I did go all the way, but in trimming with the xacto blade this happened. Learning... Silkspan? Try cotton muslin... *G* |

The red and black tissue looks great, Bill. I notice you're not covering right to the edge on the wings there, what's the reason for that? |
elevatoranj, Comment for image # 14656 | 27 Oct 09 08:47 |
I have to agree with you on that,Bill. It takes a little getting used to after using silkspan, but it is worth the effort |

I think that ESAKI Tissue will be happiest on a smaller plane, but I'm here to tell you that I've never worked with a finer product for covering planes in all my 40+ years of doing it... It's just a pleasure... |

Okay the prop that comes with the kit. Rubber: no rubber came with it from ebay, so I used two strands from the two Guillows 1000 Stukas I just finished. Still assembling and painting various parts, but will balance it next week. |
