If you look closely, you'll see the Pietenpol coming in for a landing!! |

That looks great. I have all the pre-laser cut Peck kits and can't wait to build them some day. When I was younger Bob Peck would give the kids in the flying club free wood that was left over from his kits. Great family the Pecks....... |

nearly done! Just need a radiator hose and a final balance. I'm going to hide any lead in the engine block!! |

no, it definitely has some "river rash" on it. But it works fine! |

James, it is a waterproof digital camera. I picked it up, rubbed the mud off of it and hit the power button...and it powered up! It had been at the bottom of the river for at least a month, judging by the date of the last picture taken (on the river, ironically...). |

How on earth does a digital camera still work after being left at the bottom of a river? I take it you dried it thoroughly before powering it up? |

Absolutely!!! |

Catching a camera is better than catching a fish! |

I took this picture with a Canon digital camera I found in the river today while fly fishing, and wanted to see if it worked & downloaded properly. I guess it does! This shot shows the balsa sheeting on the cockpit area. |

Thank you! I've learned a lot from the pros on this site. I decided to use 1/32" sheet on the cockpit instead of the paper covers called for in the kit, I think it looks nicer. |

Ford Model "A" engine w/ spark plug wires, intake & exhaust. Still have to make a "carb" for it! |

Wow I've been studying the Pietenpol aircraft quite a story, people are still building them today. Diehards are still using Model A engines. There is even one for sale on eBay. Alex |
