I used a 2S 800mah lipo batteries. As the 180DC motor consumes just 5Amps the flight could be much longer than
10 mins for this light model. Thanks for your kind words. |

Eventually I had replaced the installed brushless motor with a geared 180 DC. The first flight can be seen on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWWasFrcPdU. |

Hi, I had a problem with my laptop. It is now fixed. I flew this 37" Antoinette day before yesterday. She flew very well. I had made a movie clip of the flight. Too bad, my camcorder is an old analogue type. I will try to convert it to digital format and upload it to Youtube today, before I leave to Sydney/Brisbane for a 10 day business trip. |

Pak, best wishes for your mother and you. I hope she is able to recover from this. |

This is the only plan I used to build my Antoinette. Hope it is good enough for you. I intentionally increased it's wing dihedral to get better stability. It looks a bit out of scale. But it will make life easier when it's flying. |

Very kind of you, thanks, TJH. I am sure many of us were brought up this way. |

Our family will keep your mother in our prayers. I, too had a mother that encouraged me to build my models when I was young. Now when I build as I am older, my memories of her are always there. |

I tried to fly the mustang, but it is a brick. It was my first balsa model so I was more concerned with getting it together rather than making it fly. It did did make a few short flights so it can rest in honor as it did what planes must do, just not for very long :) |

Thank you, DD. Please pray with me for her. She gave my a big smile when I showed her this model and said "I love you". Then I couldn't hold my tears. She was the lady who encouraged me to build aeromodels since I was 6. She gave me money to buy balsa and all tools I needed. Years later, she wanted to see me as an aircraft engineer which I became one till my retirement. A warm and wonderful Mom now needs to hold my hands and keeps on repeating "I luv you,I luv you.." I am crying while writing this to all of you in VA. |

All up weight is 7oz. A foamy Antoinette which is super easy to build. I made it in a hospital while attending my 88 year old mom who suffered kidneys failure. |

The little one is waiting for a tiny 3.7V lipo bat. The large one has 37" wingspan and will be ready for it's first flight in a few days, needs pilot. |
