Thanks John and James. This is a static build, so I'm not concerned about weight. I'll look into both techniques. |

If strength is what you want use beading cable. If strength is want you want use beading cable. It is thin, twisted, ss cable covered with plastic. I loop either the cable or the elastic chord through a hole or eyelet, then crimp the loop closed with a beading crimp or a small length of Al tubing, I have always applied my flight wires as seperate pieces, not one continuous loop. |

Fishing line is better than elastic if you actually need to stiffen it up for flying! Not sure if this is going to fly or not - it looks great. Here's a really low-tech but effective way we used to use on the GWS Tiger Moth. http://www.virtualaerodrome.com/image_detail.html?p_aircraft_id=4&p_image_id=13453&offset= |

"elastic beading chord," pure genius. Thanx, John... (I have one of these kits... How do you anchor the lines? |

Try elastic beading chord from a craft store. You can get it in black with choices in diameter to suit your scale. |

Another work in progress. Anyone have any advice on how to do the rigging wires? I've never done those before. |
